AWANA kids registration

Awana is from 6:45 to 8:05 PM on most Wednesday evenings. We also serve a meal which starts at 6:00 PM.

• Each week at Awana your kids will spend time in a large group setting hearing from the Bible. The large group time will have a story or verse focus from each level of Awana.  Then in a rotation between small group class time, verse recitation, and games. If you are able we encourage you to review the lessons and verses with your kids!

• Books are based on grade level and can be taken home if your family want to but kids can leave them with their leader from week to week. T&T for 4th and 5th graders are the only grades with the same book this year based on a rotation we had previously started.

• Bible verses can be said during the classroom verse time or starting at 6:20 PM before large group but kids must get their book to be signed off if before the start of Awana for recording.

• Special Nights: We have a special night each month this year, some are the same and others are new! We encourage kids to dress up on theme!

• We endeavor to create and maintain an environment of safety, care, and respect for all children and leaders. We will touch base with you as a parent if your child is having a hard time doing this so we can find a solution to allow them to keep coming.

• As with most group activities, please have your kids stay home if they are sick. We will be excited to have them back at Awana when they are well.

• Cancelling Awana because of weather will happen when, 1) the public school is closed for the day, 2) when the public school has cancelled after school activities, or 3) if we feel the weather for arrival or leaving will be a danger to anyone. This will be sent out on email and through our church Facebook page (facebook.com/monroeefc)

• Bus: At this time, we are only able to offer a bus service from/to Marquette. If/when this changes we will let everyone know.

* At the end of your registration process, there will be a Health and Behavior pdf form.  Please complete the form and bring it with your child when you come.  We have copies here if you are unable to print them.
